Billie Painschab

This will be my first year as a NOMA Stars coach.  I began my volleyball career eleven years ago, starting in fifth grade.  I played for Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted High School, receiving all-conference and captain honors my senior year.  I have played on two JO volleyball teams, the Howard Lake Lakers and Heartland Addias South.  I coached summer recreation softball in Howard Lake for two summers, working with girls in the age range of five to fourteen.

I am currently a senior at Augsburg College.  My career goals are to become a physical education teacher and coach a sport.  I played volleyball for the Auggies for the last four years, earning all-tournament titles and other team honors.  I was also named a captain for my final season.  This past year, I had an internship with the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Junior Wolves division.  I have worked summer camps and game day clinics at the Target Center.  I spend time working on campus for the Athletic Facilities department.
