Alyssa Larson Team: 2007 NOMA Stars 14 Red Alyssa Larson is the current Head Volleyball Coach at North High School in North St. Paul. The Polars have finished in the top two or three of the Classic Suburban Conference the past two years she has been there. Before coaching High School Volleyball, Larson played collegiate volleyball at Hamline University. She was a four year letter winner and a three year captain for Hamline University and played as a defensive specialist. After graduating from college, Larson spent a year as an assistant volleyball coach at Hamline working primarily with defensive players and recruiting. Coach Larson has coached several levels of JO volleyball including 16's, 17's, and 18's. She has worked as a counselor, coach and director of numerous camps and clinics for Hamline University over the past six years. Larson grew up in Lino Lakes, MN and attended Forest Lake High School where she was a two year letter winner and captain her senior year for the strong program. In addition to coaching the Polars, Coach Larson is a fourth grade teacher at St. Bernard's in St. Paul.
